Overview

A concise, step-by-step checklist for users to diagnose and resolve common issues on their own.

Troubleshooting Checklist

If SNAPmobile is not ringing, check the following:

  1. Is the phone connected to the internet?

  2. Is SNAPmobile logged in?

  3. Are notifications enabled?

  4. Is Do Not Disturb or Focus mode active?

  5. Has the app been force-closed?

  6. Is battery optimization restricting the app?

  7. Is cellular data enabled for SNAPmobile?

  8. Is the device in Low Power Mode?

  9. Is the user connected to weak Wi-Fi?

  10. Is the app updated?

  11. Is the phone operating system updated?

  12. Has the phone been restarted?

If call audio is poor, check the following:

  1. Is the user on weak Wi-Fi or poor cellular signal?

  2. Is the user using VPN?

  3. Is Bluetooth causing audio routing issues?

  4. Does the issue happen on Wi-Fi, cellular, or both?

  5. Does the issue happen in one location or everywhere?

  6. Does the issue affect all calls or only some calls?

If the other party cannot hear the user, check:

  1. Microphone permission

  2. Bluetooth audio routing

  3. Muted microphone

  4. Headset connection

  5. Another app using the microphone

Important Troubleshooting Step: Do Not Force-Close the App

Users should avoid swiping the SNAPmobile app away or force-closing it unless troubleshooting. When the app is force-closed, the mobile device may prevent the app from receiving calls or notifications properly. It is best practice to leave SNAPmobile running in the background and only restart it when actively troubleshooting an issue.
