Stop Recording | *95 |
Pause (Mute) Recording | *75 |
Resume Recording | *74 |
How Recordings Are Saved
Once recording is activated using any of the above codes, the recording file is automatically saved and made available in the user’s Call History via your online portal.
Please see Accessing the Phone System Portal for portal login instructions and navigation.
Important Behavior Notes
Starting a Recording (*94)
When a user manually starts a recording using *94, the recording begins at that moment only.
Example:
A user is on a call for 2 minutes.
The user dials
*94.The first 2 minutes of the conversation are not recorded.
Recording starts exactly when
*94is activated.
This behavior applies even if the extension is configured to record calls by default.
Pausing a Recording (*75)
When a user pauses a recording using *75:
The recording file continues to run for the duration of the call.
Audio from the moment recording is paused remains silent (muted) until recording resumes.
The resulting recording maintains a continuous timeline while omitting the sensitive or paused portion.
