Overview
We are committed to providing you with the best possible VoIP experience. As part of this commitment, your support team may ask you to run our Network Diagnostic Tool.
This is a quick, safe, and easy process that helps us analyze your internet connection to ensure your phone calls are crystal clear and reliable.
Why are we doing this?
Before we set up your new phones or troubleshoot a call quality issue, we need to check the "health" of your network. This tool helps us identify firewall blocks, router settings, or internet service provider configurations that might affect your calls.
What you will need:
A Computer: A Windows or Mac laptop/desktop.
Network Access: This computer must be plugged into the same internet network as your phones (via Ethernet or Wi-Fi). Please do not use a mobile hotspot or a VPN, as this will give inaccurate results.
The Email: You should have received an email from your technical contact with specific instructions.
Step-by-Step Guide
We have broken this down into three simple steps.
Step 1: Download the App
Open the email you received from your technical support team.
Click the Download Link provided in the email.
Download and install the APP GUI on your computer (just like you would install any other program).
If you are asked for Admin permissions, please allow it (this helps the tool check network settings).
Step 2: Get your "Test Link"
Look back at the email you received.
Find the Test Link (it will look like a long web address/URL).
Copy this link (Right-click > Copy).

Step 3: Run the Test
Open the APP GUI on your computer.
You will see a box asking for a "Test Link URL."
Paste the link you copied from the email into this box.
Click the Run Diagnostic button.
Wait: The app will run a series of checks. This usually takes less than a minute. Please don't close the window while it is running.

What happens next?
Once the test finishes, you don't need to do anything else!
The results are automatically sent to your technical support team. They will review the data and contact you if they need anything else.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Is this safe? Will it access my personal data or files?
Absolutely not. The app only checks network information (like IP addresses and port availability). It does not scan your personal files, read emails, or collect any sensitive business data.
What if I get an error message?
If the app shows an error, simply take a screenshot and send it to your technical contact. Our team is standing by to assist you.
Do I need to create an account or login?
No, you do not need an account. The unique "Test Link" from your email is your access key.
Can I run the test if I am working from home?
Yes, but only if your work computer is connected to the same internet as your office desk phone. If you are on a different network (like a coffee shop Wi-Fi), the results won't be accurate for your office setup.
